Blame the Sun

yet still I fall.

Perhaps I feel the answers hide
Down here in the dirt
Like buried treasures.
Perhaps I had too much
Of the sun up there,
So busy shining.
Up there.
Up there, where the homo sapiens
Breath

and love and fight and grieve.
Or perhaps they just believe.
Because even when I’m down
I can still feel myself falling.
